SNAP 2023 Exam Pattern
SNAP 2022 Exam Mode: Online Test
Duration: 120 minutes
Number of attempts in a year: Single
Type of questions: All MCQs. Each question had 4 options to choose an appropriate response.
Marking Pattern: +1 for each correct answer.
Negative Marking: Each wrong answer attracted 25% negative marks.
Sectional Cutoff: There was no individual sectional cutoff.
Facility to choose order of sections: There was no pre-fixed order for sections. The exam allowed switching freely among different sections.
Top colleges accepting exam score: SIBM Pune, SCHMRD, SIIB, SIBM Bengaluru and all the institutes affiliated to Symbiosis International University.
Note: A candidate can appear for upto three tests for SNAP. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization.
A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers.
Normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests.
This will ensure normalisation of the spread of questions across sections.
Furthermore, the question papers will be normalised for the level of difficulty across all three sets. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.
