Age: Candidate's minimum age should be 17 years and maximum age shall be 25 years as on 31 December of the admission year.
Relaxation of 5 years will be given to candidates belonging to reserved category.
Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam from recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall also include a practical examination in these subjects) and any other elective subjects along with English as one of the core compulsory subject.
Final year student waiting for their result may apply for RPVT 2020, they have to show documentory proof at the time of counselling.
General category must have obtained minimum 50% marks taken together in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English at Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent recognized qualifying examination.
For the candidates of reserved categories, this marks requirement will be 47.5% instead of 50% in the aforesaid subjects.
The Indian National of Rajasthan Domicile only will be eligible to apply and appear in RPVT 2020.
Physical Disability: As per the Part III-Admission to the BVSc and AH Degree Course-Selection of students-7 (10) and (11) Regulations of the Veterinary Council of India-Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education-Degree Course (BVSc and AH) Regulations-2016, a candidate shall not be allowed admission to BVSc and AH Degree Course, if he/she suffers the following disabilities namely
a) Disability of total body including disability of chest/spine more than 50%.
b) Disability of lower limb of more than 50%.
c) Disability of upper limb.
d) Visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability.
e) Candidates with progressive diseases like Myopathies etc.
f) Disability which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a Veterinarian.
