About the Test: The NMAT by GMAC is a computer administered test owned by the Graduate Management Global Connection (India) Private Limited (“GMGC”), a subsidiary of Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).

The NMAT by GMAC: is a 2-hour test containing multiple choice questions. Prior to the start of the test, there will be a 2-minute period for the test taker to agree to the Non-Disclosure Agreement, a 10-minute tutorial and a 3-minute period for section selection and sequencing.

There are three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. Each section is individually timed.

Eligibility

For Indian Nationals:

  • Must hold Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  • The minimum required marks in the qualifying exam is 50%
  • Candidates in the final year of the qualifying test can also apply for the test. 

For Foreign Nationals:

  • Must be a graduate from a recognized university.
  • The marks obtained in graduation must be at least 50%
  • Must have a minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.

For  MBA Pharmaceutical Management course:  Candidates  have to pass their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from a recognized University.

Candidates have to score minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Postgraduate degree holder’s candidate in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply. Candidate who completes their graduation with B.Tech or B.E in Bio-Tech or Bio-Medical can also apply.

Candidates who working in a Pharmaceutical Company for more than two years are also applicable for this exam.

PGDM Programs: Candidates who want to apply for the PGDM program in Bangalore and Hyderabad campus, they have to qualify their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.

Appearing candidates of final year examination of their Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible to apply.

Retake  Rs. 1100 + applicable taxes

Additional Score Reports (beyond first seven):   Rs. 200 per Score Report + applicable taxes

Admission process

Candidate has to pay Rs. 2300/-  as non-refundable fee applicable taxes as applicable towards the registration fee.

Up to 5 programes/schools are included in your registration fee.

If you wish to apply to more than five (5) programs/schools a fee of Rs. 200 + applicable taxes will be charged for each additional programme/school.
