Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is considered as India's premier national entrance test jointly conducted by, MIT Institute of Design ( MIT ID), Pune and Avantika University, Ujjain providing quality education in design. DAT is a design aptitude test jointly conducted primarily to evaluate and shortlist candidates for the under graduate and post graduate program.

Candidates aspiring to pursue Undergraduate (B. Des), Post Graduate program (M. Des) at MIT Institute of Design ( MIT ID), Pune and Avantika University, Ujjain have to take the common, mandatory Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2023. A candidate needs to register for DAT.

Intake for NRI, PIO, OCI & International students will be maximum 10 % over and above of regular intake.

Rules of reservations apply as per the prevalent Government of Maharashtra directives.

B. Des. Program: Candidate should 10+2 from any stream. (HSC, CBSE, ICSE, IB).

M. Des. Program: Candidate should be Graduated from any stream 10+2+3 (minimum).

Step 2: An automated verification link will be sent to your registered email ID. Activate your account by clicking the link. 

Step 3: Provide the required details in the application form. 

Step 4: Upload the required documents accept the declaration and submit the online application form. 

Step 5: Proceed to payment option and pay Rs. 3,000/-  +GST for Indian applicants and and Rs. 4,500/-  + GST) for NRI, PIO, OCI & Foreign Nationals

Step 6: On scrutiny, verification and acceptance of application form, Admit card will be generated and sent to candidates registered email id.
