Guidelines & Instructions for Filling Online Registration Form for KBAT 2019 (Batch III)
Three steps to be followed for completing the Registration Form
Step 1 Read the Terms and Conditions of the Programme carefully
Step 2 Start filling the Registration Form by clicking “New Registration”
Step 3 Make Payment of Registration Fee using Online Payment facility.

STEP 2: Filling the KBAT 2019 Registration Form
ALL FIELDS ARE MANDATORY.
Upload your latest passport-sized photograph in .jpg or .png format by clicking on the browse button
Name: Ensure you enter the information as per your certificates.
Fathers Name: As per the documents Submitted Mothers Name: As per the documents Submitted
Date of Birth: As per your Class X Marks card. (Note: Candidates born in 1986 and thereafter are only eligible)
Gender: Select from the Radio button.
Aadhar Number: Enter the details as mentioned in the document
Your mobile number: Enter your own mobile number and not of friends or family, as you could be contacted by us, for any clarifications, if required.
E-mail ID: Give your own E-mail ID (should be active at the time entering the details)
Kindly note password for KBAT 2019 and other communications would be sent to your email ID only. Please keep checking your mail (including your spam and trash folders) and BiSEP Website (www.bisep.karnataka.gov.in) for any updates.
ID Proof type: Select from the scroll down menu bar.
ID Proof Number: Enter the ID Number as mentioned in the above selected ID proof.
ID Proof Upload: Upload self-attested scanned PDF format of the above selected ID proof type with less than 1Mb size.
Present Address: Your Current Residence Address
Pin code: Enter correct pin code of your present address
City/Town: Select from the scroll down menu bar.
State: Select from the scroll down menu bar.
District: Enter the name of the District.
Address Proof type: Select from the scroll down menu bar.
Address Proof (Upload): Upload the scanned PDF format of the above selected Address proof type with less than 1Mb size.
Category: Select correct category for which proof needs to be provided.
Category Certificate: Upload PDF format of the Category certificate issued by the competent authority with less than 1Mb file size.
Notification Option: Select the Radio buttons carefully so the notifications will reach you as per the option selected.
Academic Details: Qualifying Degree: Select from the scroll down bar
Academic Institution: Enter the Name of the Institution from where you pursued the Degree.
Year of completion/ passing: 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, others: Click on relevant year of passing or others and then enter.
Aggregate or Percentage: This would be an addition of marks scored for each semesters or degree put together/in total.
Conversion of CGPA Grades to Percentage:
a) If marks sheet have total scores, kindly add marks scored for each semesters or degree put together/in total and directly calculate the percentage to enter the same.
b) If marks sheet has both CGPA Grades and Marks details, kindly enter the marks directly and calculate the percentage without considering the CGPA grades.
c) If marks sheets CGPA conversion formula is provided by the University, calculate the percentage as per the formula and enter the same.
d) If mark sheets has only CGPA grades provided, please calculate the percentage using the following formula:
For Engineering Degree holders
[CGPA Earned - 0.75] x 10 = Percentage of marks scored
Illustration: [CGPA Earned 8.20-0.75] x 10 = 74.5%
For non-Engineering Degree holders
CGPA Earned x 10 = Percentage of marks scored

Note: Percentage of marks should be calculated for all semesters of the qualifying degree.

Domain and College preferences: Select the 5 colleges in your order of preference from the scroll down bar even if your choice of domains are repeated. 4 Kindly note mere selection of domains and college preferences do not guarantee admission for that particular course or college. The final allotment of course and colleges is fully depends on its availability at the time of counseling and seat allotment called based on Final Rank List.
Exam Details: Select Preferred Date of Exam and Preferred Exam slot from the drop down menu. Kindly note the dates are liable to changes. The exact date and time of your online Test will be communicated to the Mobile Number/Email entered in the application.
Exam Location: Karnataka Biotechnology Aptitude Test (KBAT) is online exam of 1 hour duration that can be taken from anywhere with Laptop/Desktop computer having good internet connectivity and continuous power supply. Registered candidates are set to receive login credentials to their registered Mobile number and eMail Id along with necessary instructions well before the date of exam and exam slot selected by the candidates. No Admit Card/Hall Ticket issued. The various options provided in drop down menu are only for information to guide in case of any technical difficulty in completing the online test. How do know about KBAT: Select the option available from the scroll down bar.
After filling up the details, candidates need to click on “Accept and Pay fees” radio button. Immediately login ID and Temporary Password will be generated and sent to the eMail ID and Mobile number given in the Registration Form. Also, the candidate will be taken to the Payment Section. If candidate wants to modify any details entered in the Registration Form, one has an option of logging in using Login ID and Temporary password sent to undertake such modifications.
Once payment details are entered and submitted, candidates are not allowed to modify the details already entered in the registration form. Candidates have an option of entering payment details by getting login also.
STEP 3: Registration Fee of Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Rupees Only) has to be paid using ONLINE PAYMENT FACILITY ONLY.
Registration fees once paid is not re-fundable for reasons whatsoever.
CASH DEPOSITS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR REASONS WHATSOEVER
After payment gets complete, the registration status will be shown as PENDING for Verification and Approval by the Administrator. On the Administrator approving the Registration, an email/SMS will be sent to the registered mobile and email ID confirming the same along with any other information regarding the online test.
