TISS conducts TISSNET 2023 on 25 February 2023  to offer admission into the postgraduate program in its various campus. The test will be online.

TISSNET Exam details

TISS-NET is a computer-based test with 100 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ). Those with basic working knowledge of computer can take the test easily.

Candidates applying or single or multiple programs will attend only one test and the TISS-NET Score will be valid for all the programs applied for.

There will not be negative marking for any program.

Medium of TISS-NET will be English.

Note: Negative marking will be applicable for TISS-MAT administered to candidates applying for MA Human Resource Management & Labour Studies and MA Organisation Development, Change and Leadership.

TISSNET is Computer Based Test secheduled on 25 February 2023

Exam Timings: 2pm to 3:40 Pm

Test Duration: 1 hours 40 minutes

Eligibility

Candidate should hold Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 or 4 years duration or equivalent from a recognized board/ university in any discipline.

There is no age limit to apply for the test.

b) Candidates who will successfully complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations and internships, if applicable) by June 13, 2023, are also eligible to apply.

Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these latest by  31 Augsut 2023, failing which their provisional admission would stand automatically cancelled without any further reference to the candidate.

The bonus will be on the candidate to submit the degree/ provisional degree and grade/ mark sheet by 31 Augsut 2023.

For LLM: Applying candidate must have passed in LLB Degree with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board or university.

Fee for One program: Rs. 1,030/- for General, Rs. 260/- for Reserved category.

Fee for two programs: Rs. 2,060/- for Geenral, Rs. 520/- for Reserved category.

Fee for three programs: Rs. 3,090/- for Geenral, Rs. 780/- for Reserved category.

Cash deposit in Any SBI Branch using Challan:

Fee for One program: Rs. 1,000/- for General, Rs. 250/- + Bank Charges for Reserved category.

Fee for two programs: Rs. 2,000/- for Geenral, Rs. 500/- + Banking Charges for Reserved category.

Fee for three programs: Rs. 3,000/- for Geenral, Rs. 750/- + Banking Charges for Reserved category.

Admission process

Candidate who want to apply for the TISSNET 2023 exam, may visit official website of the intitute.

Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programs across any two of the TISS Campuses.

Candidates SHOULD NOT fill more than one form.

Candidates applying online will be asked to choose between two modes of payment 'Cash' or 'Payment Gateway' in the online application form. If the preferred mode of payment is 'Cash', a payment challan has to be downloaded from the 'Download Challan' tab. The payment challan will have 3 copies. Deposit the cash amount mentioned on the challan in any branch of State Bank Of India. The bank will return two copies of the challan (Student Copy and TISS Copy) with the banks seal, signature and journal number on it. Candidates have to scan the 'TISS Copy' of the challan, login back to the online application system and upload it.

Admit Card

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the TISS-NET centre without a hall ticket printed from the TISS Admission website and a valid Photo Identity card.
