Common Entrance Examination AMPAI-2018-WB is an entrance examination conducted by the Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes (AMPAI), for admission of 4 years B.Tech and B.Pharm degree courses at the institutes mentioned below, through minority quota. 

Based on overwhelming response from the students community in terms of interest towards appearing from AMPAI 2014, CEE-AMPAI-2018-WB will be conducted as per GO No: 305-Edn(T)/10M-13/15, issued by Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal for the admission to first year B.Tech and B.Pharm courses in the session beginning, wherein preference of admission shall be given to Sikh minority students. Seats then left vacant may be filled up by students from any other religion/caste/category across India, upon fulfilling necessary eligibility criteria.

Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes (AMPAI) is a registered body under West Bengal Society Registration Act 1961, vide Reg. No. S/1L/76255 Dt. 15/12/2010. The Association was established in the year 2010, and now the following colleges accept the admission of students through the Common Entrance Examination AMPAI: 

1. JIS College of Engineering (JISCE), Kalyani, West Bengal
2. Narula Institute of Technology (NIT), Agarpara, Kolkata
3. Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT), Sodepur, Kolkata
4. Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology (GNIPST), Sodepur, Kolkata
5. Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College (DSCSDEC), Dumdum, Kolkata 

The total number of seats available in CEE-AMPAI-2018-WB is 1164.

Examination centres: North Kolkata,South Kolkata, North pgs 24, South 24 Pgs,Nadia (Kalyani), Howrah, Kharagpur, Asansol, Durgapur, Malda, Siliguri, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Patna, Purnea,Guwahati, Silchar, Agartala, Benaras, Gorakhpur.

For Bachelor in Engineering &Technology: Candidates must have passed 10+2 Examination from a recognized Council/Board with: 

Individual pass marks in Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as Compulsury subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory & practical whereever applicable) in regular mode.

Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together as well as pass in English in the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 30% marks. 

For Bachelor in Pharmacy Course: Candidates must have passed 10+2 Examination from a recognized Council/Board with: 

Individual pass marks in Physics and Chemistry along with any one of Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as Compulsury subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory & practical whereever applicable) in regular mode.

Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together as well as pass in English in the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 30% marks. 

Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Age Restriction: Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age as on 31.12.2018. There is no upper age limit. Date of Birth as recorded in Class X Examination under any School/Secondary Education Board Certificate/Admit Card will only be considered.

A candidate may apply for CEE-AMPAI-2018-WB, in 2 ways:

a) Online OR b) Offline.

Online: Registration at CEE-AMPAI-2018-WB website: The candidate needs to login atwww.ampai.in

Applicants to fill up CEE-AMPAI-2018-WB may fill up the online applicationform and submit Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) as application fees via the onlinepayment gateway at one sitting only during filling up of the online application form.

Offline: Candidates can download the Application Form from www.ampai.in.Application Fee of Rs.200/- has to be paid by DD in favour of “Association of MinorityProfessional Academic Institutes” or “AMPAI” payable at KolkataDuly filled up Application Form along with Examination fee and important documents canbe submitted either in person or by post to the following address:
