Exam Details

Government of Maharashtra has established State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulatory Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, (Herein after called the Act).  

According to G.R. No. CET-2015/C.No.379/MSHI-2, Dated 4th December, 2015 andG.R. No. CET-2016/F.No.84/MSHI-2, Dated 7th April, 2016 the Competent Authority shallconduct the MAH-B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated CET 2022 for the admission to the First Year of the Two YearFull Time Professional Degree Course in Education leading to MAH- MAH-B.Ed.-M.Ed. IntegratedDegree, for the Academic Year 2022-2023.

CET CELL had conducted the Maiden On Line CET for MAH-B.Ed.-M.Ed. Four Year Integrated Course for the First Time in the State of Maharashtra in the Academic Year 2018-2019. This Year is the Fourth Year of the CET for B.Ed.- M.Ed. Integrated Course. In the Academic Year 2020-21 only One Department admitted the candidates. Candidates are advised to go through the list of Departments in which this course is available, before applying for the MAH B.Ed.-M.Ed. CET 2022.

The admissions to the following institutes will be done by the Competent Authority, provided they are approved and recognized by Government of Maharashtra and are Affiliated to any of the Non-agricultural University in the State of Maharashtra State and recognized by National Council of Teacher Education, New Delhi.:

1. The Government College of Education offering MAH-B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated courses.

2. All Government Aided Colleges/ Departments of Universities (including Aided Minority  Institutions) offering MAH- MAH-B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated courses. 

3. All University Managed Institutes/ Departments offering MAH- MAH-B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated courses

4. All Un-aided Colleges/ Departments of the Universities (including Minority Institutions) offering MAH-B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated courses, covered as per the Act.

5. As per the guidelines of the NCTE this special course is run in the select University Departments only.

Pattern of B.Ed.-M.Ed. (Integrated) CET 2022:

1. Maximum Marks: 100

2.  No of Questions: 100

3. Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions with Four Options.

4. Medium of CET: Marathi and English.

5. Time:- 90 Minutes (One Hour Thirty Minutes)

6. No Negative Marking.

7. Mode of Examination: On Line.

8. Eligible Score for Admission:  Non Zero Score in the Current Year CET.

Eligibility

Candidate should be Indian National.

Should hold PG Degree in Science/Art with 

Science: 1) Mathematics 2) Life Sciences like Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics   

Arts Social Science: a) Social Science including subjects (History /Geography / Economics / Political Sciences / Psychology / Philosophy /  Education /Library)

Arts Humanity Science: b) Languages and Literature:- Viz.-English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Sanskrit, Pali/Prakrut/Guajarati/Spa nish/German/French etc.  

Minimum 55% Marks or Equivalent Grade etc. subjects studied as Optional/Special Subject at Post Graduation or  equivalent level  for Open Category Candidate.

EWS candidates will be treated as Open candidates for the sole purpose of Educational Qualifications.     

Candidates from Outside Maharashtra State and J &K Migrant Candidates belonging to all Categories will be considered as Open Candidate and eligibility criteria of Open category candidate will be applicable to them.

2) General Knowledge (30 Marks):

i) Basic General Knowledge (a) Books and Authors (b)Awards and Honours (c) National and International Days. (d) Persons in News (e) Current Events with reference to Education.

ii) Science and Technology: (a) General Science (up to SSC Level) (b) Various Inventions (c) Technology. iii) History (up to SSC Level) iv) Geography (up to SSC Level)

vi) Indian Civics and Economics (up to SSC Level)

vii) Indian Constitution with reference to Education.

3) Mental Ability (30 Marks):

This section aims to judge the reasoning power and accuracy in Thinking. This section will cover the areas like:

i) Reasoning Ability

ii) Blood Relations

iii) Statements and Conclusions

iv) Letter and Number Series

v) Analogy

vi) Odd man out

vii) Numerical Ability

viii) Logical Problems

ix) Coding- Decoding. 

Guidelines for Persons with Disabilities using a Scribe: 

The Visually impaired candidates and candidates whose writing speed is adversely affected permanently for any reason can use their own scribe at their own cost during the On Line CET subject to limit as detailed in (i) and (ii) below. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules will apply:

The candidate will have to arrange his/her own scribe at his/her own cost.

The Scribe arranged by the candidate should not be a candidate for the same examination. If violation of above is detected at any stage of the process; candidature of the both the candidates and the scribe will be cancelled. The candidate eligible for and who wish to use service of the scribe in the Examination should invariably carefully indicate the same in the On Line application form. Any subsequent request will not be favourably entertained.

The person acting as a Scribe for one candidate cannot be a scribe for another candidate. 

The Scribe can be from any academic discipline.

Both, the candidate as well as the scribe, will have to give a suitable undertaking confirming that the scribe fulfils all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe mentioned below. Further in case it later transpires that he/she did not fulfil any laid down eligibility criteria or suppressed material facts the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective of the result of the On line CET examination. 

The candidate who uses a Scribe shall be eligible for Compensatory Time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination.

Only candidates registered for Compensatory time will be allowed such concessions since compensatory time given to the candidates shall be System Based, it shall not be possible for the Competent Authority to allow such time if he/she is not registered for the same. TheCandidates not registered for compensatory time shall not be allowed such concessions.

Scribe should not answer on his/ her own. Any such behaviour observed will result in cancellation of Candidature.

MAH-B.P.Ed CET 2022 Entrance Exam fee

CET Fee For Open Category candidates from Maharashtra State, OutSide Maharashtra State (OMS)/All India Candidates belonging to allCategories, and J&K Migrant Candidates, EWS candidates.

CET Fee-For Candidates belonging to Backward Class Categories (SC, ST,VJ/DT- NT (A), NT-1 (B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC SBC,SEBC*categories ) belonging to Maharashtra State only having valid CasteCertificate and having valid Non-creamy Layer Certificate for DT-VJ, NT1, 2,3,OBC & SBC Candidates.

Rs.  800/-

Candidates will be required to submit the caste certificate & Caste Validity Certificate and Non Creamy Layer Certificate if applicable at the time of filling CAPApplication form to be considered under category.

Application Form for MAH-BEd-MEd CET 2022 will be filled through Online Mode (CBT-ComputerBased Test) only.

Before applying online, applicants should:

Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to therequired specifications as given under Guideline for photograph & signature Scan and Upload.

Have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile No., which should be kept active till the completion of this Admission Process. In case the candidate does not have the valid personal e-mail id, he/she should create his/her new e-mail id and Mobile No. before applying on line and must maintain that email account and mobile no. till the process is over.

How to pay application fee.

  • The payment can be made by using Debit Cards(RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking,IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. 
  • No other mode of payment shall be permitted.This fee is non-refundable and non transferable under any circumstances. 

On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.

Test Centres

Test Centers for CET:

1. MAH- B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated CET 2022 will be conducted in the selected Cities in Maharashtra especially in the University area where the course in being conducted. The cities in which MAH-B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated CET 2021 for the Candidates who have opted for that will be conducted are designated as “Centers” for the CET.

2. Each Centre may have many “Venues” depending upon the number of candidates appearing at that Centre.

3. A Candidate appearing for CET shall give his/her preference for the Centre, however, the Competent Authority reserves the right to allocate the Centre and Venue.

4. The examination will be conducted On-Line at Venues given in the respective Hall ticket.

5. No request for change of Centre/Venue/Date/ Session for the Examination shall be entertained. 

6. Competent authority, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and /or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility etc.

7. Competent Authority also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted.

8. Candidate will appear for the CET Examination at the Examination Centre at his/her own risk and expenses and Competent Authority will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.

 9. Choice of Centre once exercised by the candidate will be Final.

 10. If sufficient number of Candidates do not opt for a particular Centre for Online Examination, Competent Authority reserves the right to allot any other adjunct Centre to those candidates OR if the number of the candidates is more than the capacity available for online examination for a Centre, Competent Authority reserves the right to allot any other Centre to the Candidate.

Centres of Examination: Candidate has to select Any Three centers of their own choice from the list given: ( The Centers selected are binding on the Candidates) Candidates are requested to refer to the list of Departments where this course is available.
