The Bihar Institute of Law Patna is conducting Bachelor of Law Entrance Test (BILAT 2020)for admission to LLB (3 years) and B.A. LLB (5 years). The admission shallbe made strictly according to the merit list prepared on the basis of said Entrance Test, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements mentioned below and the general laws of the university concerning admission.

Medium of Entrance Tets: English

Pattern of Examination:  The Entrance Test will be based on objective questions with type multiple choice

Duration of the test:  Two hours.

Result: The Bihar Institute of Law, Patna shall publish the category wise merit list of successful candidates and merit list will be available on the notice board of the Bihar Institute of Law on the Bihar Institute of law website.

Selection criteria: Every candidate must secure a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance test hi order to get admission in LL.B, B.A. LLB course in other words, if a

candidate gets less than 40% marks in the entrance test, he/she will be disqualified to take admission in LLB. course and B.A LLB course in different of any category. 

In case of equal marks obtained by two or more candidates in the entrance, candidate obtained higher marks in graduation shall be admitted.

In case of equal marks obtained in entrance test & Graduation marks by the two or more candidates the candidate having higher age to be admitted on the seat.

LLB: Candidate who have passed Bachelor' Degree exam in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering or any other stream from a recongnised  board/university and or having academic qualification as is considered equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree by  any recognised University with  not less than  45 % marks.

Appearing candidates in final year Bachelors examination are also eligible to apply for the entrance test subject to the condition that their examination results of Bachelors Degree must be declared before the date of admission to the course.

B.A. LLB: Candidate who have passed 10+2 exam from a recongnised  board/university, secured minimum 45% marks.

Appearing candidates in final year examination are also eligible to apply for the entrance test subject to the condition that their examination results of 10+2 must be declared before the date of admission to the course.

Option 1: Candidate can go the Bihar Institute of Law, patna and pay Rs. 1100/- (incuding the entrance test fee) to  collect prospectus and application form.

Option 2: Visit official website of Bihar Institute of Law to download prospectus and application form for admission. 

Fill downloaded application form.

Attach required documents along with DD of Rs. 1200/- in favor of  Bihar Institute of Law.

Dully filled application form along with following documents should be sent to the

• Self attested copies of all marksheet certificate
• caste certificate issued by competent authority if applicable
