Chief Minister Trivandrum Rawat said that this will prove to be a major step towards making the state a quality education hub. The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this.
At present, there are 21 national law universities in the country, which are entered through the clay. These include graduate and postgraduate courses. National Law University in Uttarakhand will be established in approximately 10 acres of land in Ranipokhari near Dehradun. The Chief Minister hoped that with the establishment of the National Law University in the state, the talented students of the country will be here along with the state. This will also benefit the economics of adjacent areas. The state government wants to make Uttarakhand education and tourism hub. The central government is also getting full support in this.

Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line is also being worked in a time bound manner.
