World Consumer Rights Day- Consumers International started the celebration of Consumer Rights Day 24 years ago in 1983. This day is celebrated on March 15 in the world. There was only one reason to celebrate this day that customers have information about their rights, many customers have to face problems due to lack of knowledge of rights. Customers should know about their rights to meet their needs, governments around the world take care of consumers' rights.
Consumer movement was introduced in America by Ralp Nader, resulting in the Consumer Protection Bill introduced by the then President John F. Kennedy in the U.S. Congress on March 15, 1962.
There were four special provisions in this bill-
- Right to consumer protection
- Right to Information
- Right to the consumer
- Right to hear
Under the Consumer Protection Act Act, every person who purchases or purchases of any kind is a consumer, and also has the rights. Knowing that knowingly being aware of them is also in the rights of the consumer and if there is any dispute, there is a legal decision for this.

GI tags are given for agricultural products, natural goods and manufactured goods for their specific quality. This GI registration is valid for 10 years, after which it has to be renewed. Some important GI tags are derived products like Darjeeling tea, Tirupati Laddoo, Kangra painting, Nagpur orange and Kashmir pashmina etc.

Under this service, service delivery of cash pick-up and delivery, check pick-up, check book, delivery of drafts and term deposits, life certificate and form 15H for income tax will be provided.
