SpaceIL is a non-profit company, it was founded eight years ago to participate in the Google Lunar X prize. In the Google Lunar X prize competition, sending high-definition video from the Moon's surface, live transmission, construction of private spacescrew which travelled 500 meters in any direction. But in 2018 the program was cancelled because none of the remaining five teams could meet the deadline till March.
