Civil Engineering: First Division in B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized TechnicalInstitute or University. Final-year students can apply while awaiting their results. A goodGATE/CSIR/UGC-NET score is strongly recommended, but not required.ORM.S./M.Sc. students are also eligible under special circumstances (if their academic training andresearch interests lie in Geoinformatics, Urbanization, Air/Water quality and relatedEnvironmental Engineering areas). 

Chemical Engineering: B.E/B. Tech. Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline such asPetroleum Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Technology etc. with overall marks of at least 60% (or minimum 6.5/10 CGPA). Final year students canapply while awaiting their results. 

Computer Science and Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology from arecognized Technical Institute or University with minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.Applicants waiting for the qualifying examination results are also eligible to apply.

Mechanical Engineering: B.E/B. Tech. Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with overall marks of at least 60% (orminimum 6.5/10 CGPA) and a valid GATE Score. Final year students can apply while awaitingtheir results.Note: Those from IITs and NITs and SNU with a CGPA >=8.0 will not have to appear in a writtentest but only in the interview (a good GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET score is strongly recommended, but notcompulsory if CGPA >= 8).

Electronics and Communication Engieering: First Division in B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics & Communicationdiscipline from a recognized Technical Institute or University. Final-year students can applywhile awaiting their results. A good GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET score is strongly recommended, butnot compulsory.

Selection Process: Valid Score in GATE.
