Selection Process

Admission to the B.Tech program is based on marks obtained in  Any National Entrance Test/ KEAM (Kerala Entrance Exam).

Admission is strictly on the basis of merit.

50% of the total seats in B. Tech. Courses are set apart for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

15% of seats within sanctioned intake is provided for NRI Category and given on the basis of marks obtained for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Standard.

For the management merit seats, the rank list is prepared on basis of index marks obtained by combining the percentage marks of Mathematics and Physics at the 10+2 level and the percentage score obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination with 75% and 25% weightage respectively.

The marks obtained in the State Board/CBSE/ICSE for each subject are normalized with reference to the highest marks obtained by applicants from the respective Board.

For M.Tech program, candidate should secure valid score in GATE.

Admission is strictly on the basis of merit. Government Quota Seats will be filled as per the DTE Rank order of the candidates applied. Reservation category Seats available in the Government Quota also filled from the DTE Rank order of the candidates applied. Selection of Management Quota Seats will be based on the Rank list published based on the index marks obtained on considering the % of Marks up to 6th Semester in the Qualifying Examination and Gate Scores.

For B.Tech following documents required.

1 .Admit card of Entrance Examination 2021

2.  Print out of the last Phase of the Allotment Memo received from CEE Website. (Applicable for Govt. allotted candidates)

3. Fee receipt of Rs.10,000/- to Controller for Entrance Examination. (Applicable for Govt. allotted candidates)

4. 10+2 mark List and Pass Certificate (where applicable) in original

5. 10th Examination certificate in original for proof of age.

6. Transfer Certificate (TC) in original from the Institution last studied

7. Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied

8. Candidate Mark Datasheet of the Entrance Examination 2021

9. Four passport size (colour) photographs

10. Physical Fitness Certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner in the relevant format given in Annexure XVII (b)-Page 102 of the KEAM Prospectus 2021

12. Community and Income Certificate in original for candidates allotted by Commissioner for Entrance Examination in SC/ST/OEC categories

13. Additional one Photostat of 10th, 12th Mark list and Candidate CEE Mark Datasheet.

M.Tech Admission Process

Application may be submitted in the prescribed form available at Corporate Office on payment of Rs 750/- by cash.

 Filled up application form and the self-attested copies of the required documents are to be forwarded to the Corporate Office either in person or by post.

Please attach DD for Rs 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of Saintgits College of Engineering, payable at Kottayam along with the downloaded application form.

6.Eligibility Certificate from KTU for students other than those who have passed their Qualifying Degree from Universities from other State.
