Application Procedure for BCom in Onkarmal Somani College of CommerceAdmission Rules:
All students seeking admission are to fill up the application forms.
One has to fill in the form in Hindi/English in accordance with the entries in the Matriculation/ University Identity certificate.
Students are to furnish all the necessary particulars in the appropriate columns in the application form. Incomplete application forms are liable to be rejected.
Students (1st, 2nd and final year successfully cleared) are to fill up the application form for the admission of the following year/session. They must do it within the stipulated period/last date according to the time intimated through the notice on the Notice Board.
After the declared date for filling up of the forms is over one has to pay Rs. 100 as late fee up to a certain period decided by the university.
All fees are non refundable.
Students participate in the in the compartmental/ supplementary exams in June/July/August are to submit their application form for admission within the week of the declaration of results.
One’s admission is strictly restricted to pursue a single course at a time only.
The Principal of the college holds all rights for the acceptance or rejection of admission application on the basis of or in compliance with the rules and regulations promulgated by Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur or the Directorate of the Education of the university.
Names of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the notice board on or within the predetermined date. The students who fail to complete the admission formality within the prescribed date their candidatures will be cancelled automatically.
A case of consecutive absence from the college for 15 days or more may be deemed as the willful discontinuation of the course on the part of a student and the name of the concern student may be struck off the attendance register.
One has to claim (with proper identification proof/college identity card) ‘Caution Money” within two years of leaving college, there after the money will be transferred to library fund and no claim will be entertained.
Onus of any wrong information submitted will automatically fall on the Student/ guardian concern which may even result in cancellation of candidature.
In general no interim change in permanent address will be entertained. The permanent address should be attested by a competent authority of the area concern. All the correspondence and bus/railway concession certificates will be sent to the permanent address only.
All information pertaining to academic or administrative will be intimated only through the Notice Board display. No individual intimation will be served on these issues.
Student Identity Card will be issued once only. In special cases re-issue may be considered for a student only after producing an affidavit attested by a first class judicial magistrate.
Optional subject/subjects, compulsory subjects and medium of instruction are irrevocable.
If a student fails in the supplementary/ examination specially on the basis of which he sought his admission will be considered void (that admission) automatically.
If the general behavior of a student is found disagreeable/offensive or one shows disobedience to the rules and regulations of the institution or gets pointed out for any misconduct including forgery relating to ones guardianship and counterfeit signature, the concern student is liable to be punished according to the law and the Principal holds absolute authority to debar or cancel the admission of the student.
For the purpose of enrolment at the University, one has to enclose Mark Sheet, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, Character Certificate (all in original) and two attested copies of each with enrolment form. In absence of any of those documents the due fees for the admission will not be accepted for submission.
After the admission, in all circumstances, students are to abide by every interim promulgation of the university whether it is academic or administrative.
It is mandatory for all the students to participate in the preparatory examination arranged by the college before the Main examination conducted by the University.
