Selection Process

For UG courses:

B.Tech. program: Candidate has to pass Entrance Examination.

5 % relaxation will be given to reserved cateory candidates.

For PG courses:

MBA: Applicant must have good score in CAT/MAT to get admission.

M.Tech: Applicant must have secured minimum 60% marks in B.E./B.Tech. Degree with valid score in GATE.

M.Sc. in all streams: Applicant must have B.Sc. Degree with at least 55% mars (50% for reserved category) in related stream.

M.Sc. in Forestry: Applicant must have B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture with at least 60% mars (55% for reserved category).

For Ph.D course:

Candidate has to pass post graduation in related stream with minimum 60% (55% for reserved category). Selection is based on marks secured in entrance exam.

Admission Process 

Application fee is Rs. 1,000/-+ bank transaction charges for all category candidates.Application fee is non-refundable/non-transferable.

Before applying applicant required to keep following documents ready:

• Email -id and contact numb should be valid  till the admission process is over. Applicant will receive all sms and massages through mail or ph numb.
• A recent scanned passport sized colour photograph
• Applicant scanned signature using Blue/Black pen on white sheet.
• Scanned/Soft copy of entrance exam passed  by applicant-NET/GATE/CAT/MAT/SLET/M.Phil./Lecturer Fellowship score card/ certificate.
• Copy of ST/SC/OBC(Non Creamy Layer)/EWS (Annexure-VI) should be produced in original  during counselling cum admission.

Steps for online application:

• Applicant need to register himself/herself at  www.neeonline.ac.in or through institute website www.nerist.ac.in
• Activate your online Application with the Email ID and Your Activation Code; send it to your submitted Email ID / Mobile No in registration process.
• Select the program.
• If applicant full fill eligibility criteria and continues the Program, the next web page appears. The applicant is required to click on “Application Details”. The application form will appear on the screen. The applicant is required to fill up the details in the application form. 
• Upload scanned image file of his/her Photograph and Signature one by one
• In the next step, the applicant is required to fill the Academic details.
• The applicant is required to choose your Document details.
• Once all the details are filled in, the candidate is required to Review the details entered and Confirm. No edit will be allowed once the application is confirmed.
• Pay  fee  through online mode only.
