Eligibility |
Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BA LLB (Hons) in Kirit P Mehta School of Law Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam from recognized board from any stream and should have obtained minimum 50% aggregate marks. Candidates who has passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from International Baccalaureate (IB) board should be either IB certificate / & D.P. awarded with total of minimum 24 credits having passed 3 HL & 3 SL mandatorily from any stream. In case the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration. Selection Process: Valid Score in NMIMS LAT/ CLAT and LSAT and Personal Interview. |

Selection Process
Admission to the Integrated program is based on score obtained in NMIMS LAT CLAT and LSAT and Personal Interview.
For PG program, candidate should secure valid score in NLAT PG / CLAT PG and Personal interview.
For Ph.D program, candidate should secure valid score in written test and personal interview.
Candidates those who have qualified in UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ M. PHIL with valid score in validity period are exempted from NMIMS entrance test. However they have to appear for personal interview.

Online Registration & Payment of Registration:
Visit www.nmims.edu for online registration
Before filling the online form, please read all the instructions carefully mentioned in the instruction sheet, important dates and also Terms & Condition given in the online application form.
Online Registration Fee of Rs. 1500/- for LLM program and Rs. 2000/- for Ph.D program (Please refer online registration for payment details.)
Registration Fee is non-refundable.
Submission of Documents:
Candidate have to upload below mentioned list of documents using the link given in call letter for NMIMS Entrance Test and Personal Interview.
It is important and primary requirement to upload the mandatory documents to execute the Written Test and Personal Interview process.
List of Documents:
For LLM Programs
1. Copy of duly filled Online Application Form (mandatory)
2. 10th & 12th Mark sheet & certificate copy (mandatory)
3. Valid score card for Common Law Admission Test for LL.M (CLAT PG) (if applicable)
4. Degree mark sheet all years – 5 years / 3 years & Degree Certificate (Convocation Certificate) (Mandatory)
5. Work Experience Certificate (if applicable)
6. Statement of Purpose (SOP) (mandatory)
7. Any Research/ Academic contribution by you in the form of Publication
8. Credentials for participation in co-curricular activities and competitions like Moot Court
9. Short term certificate course or participation in workshops/ seminars
Candidate will not be permitted to attend NMIMS Entrance Test/ Personal Interview or to join the program unless he/she has uploaded list of Documents (as mentioned above) on time AND complete the selection process successfully.
A set of photocopy of the above mentioned documents have to be carried along by candidate when they appear for NMIMS written test & personnel interview.
Required documents for Ph.D Programs
1. Copy of duly filled up online application form
2. Attested copies of Graduation Mark sheet and Degree Certificate (Convocation certificate)
3. Attested copies of Post-Graduation Mark sheet and Degree Certificate (Convocation certificate)
4. Statement of Purpose (format available on website www.nmims.edu). SOP should describe area of research.
5. UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/ M.Phil. for Law examination or other equivalent examinations certificate (if appeared).
6. No candidate will be permitted to attend entrance test or personal interview or to join the program unless he/ she uploads the above mentioned list of documents in time AND completes the selection process successfully.
7. A set of photocopy of the above mentioned documents have to be kept ready by candidate when they appear for NMIMS online personnel interview.
