BCom (CA): Candidates shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Business statistics as one of the subjects or an examination of any other university or authority accepted by the syndicate of Periyar university as equivalent thereto

BCom (General): A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examinations with Commerce and Accountancy (Academic or Vocational Stream) conducted by the Government of TamilNadu or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed thereto are permitted to appear and qualify for the Bachelor of Commerce degree examination of this university after a course of study of three academic years. 20% reserved for vocational stream.
