Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MTech in Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology Candidate should hold a B.E/B.Tech Degree in related stream from recognised university/ institute.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.
45% in case of candidate belonging to SC & ST categories.
Candidate must be mentally and physically fit and must possess a good moral character.
Selection Process: Valid Score in GATE.
GIMT Selection Test for M.Tech.
GATE qualified candidates shall be given preference and these candidates do not have to appear in the GIMT selection test. |

a) Online mode: Applicant can visit official website of GIMT www.gimt-guwahati.ac.in where link is provided on “Apply Online” for online application.
b) Offline mode: Applicant can visit Admission Cell at
i) GIMT Guwahati
ii) GIMT Tezpur
iii) Shrimanta Shankar Academy, Dr. J C Das Road, Panbazar, Guwahati-781001 and
iv) Shrimanta Shankar Academy, Dispur, Guwahati-781006 for collecting prospectus and application form.
However, the completed application form must be submitted at GIMT Guwahati, Azara, on or before last date of submission for the concerned course.
The Price of the Prospectus is Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only).
