Eligibility |
Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MEd in Gandhigram Rural Institute Candidate must have passed UG/PG exam with BEd, minimum of 55% marks in BEd from a recognized university. Admission to the program will be made subject to the reservation policy of the Government of India / UGC Norms. The SC/ST applicants will be granted relaxation in admission. Seats also will be reserved for certain special categories namely Differently Abled, Wards of Defence Personnel, Sports Persons and candidates hailing from North Eastern Regions and Jammu & Kashmir. Selection Process: Admission will be made on the basis of an entrance test. |

Selection Process
Admission to the UG / Diploma Program / B.Sc.-B.Ed is based on n marks scored in 10+2 or its equivalent examinations.
Admission to the B.Tech/ PG and PG Diploma program is based on marks obtained in entrance test.
Admission to the B.Ed program is based on the percentage of marks scored in UG/ PG program.

Applications can be submitted only by online.
e-prospectus and instructions for filling up the on-line applications are provided in the university website.
Candidates should register before filling up the online application. During the registration process, the following details should be furnished.
Name followed by initials (as per the Higher Secondary mark statement), date of birth, valid email ID and mobile number should be filled in.
Date of birth, email ID and mobile number cannot be changed after registration.
After successful registration, the system will send the unique username and password through email and SMS to the candidates.
Candidate can access his/her login to the portal and proceed to fill up the application form.
After filling up the data, he/she can submit the application, after making the online payment of application cum processing fees. Payment can be made by Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking of any bank.
After final submission, the entered data could not be modified.
In case of submission of online form through any browsing centre, the candidate is also advised to get the form filled in his/her presence and provide his/her contact information such as email ID and mobile number wherever required.
Candidates may check the status of their application in our website by log in using the allotted user name and password.
Online submission of application for any two programs is free of cost for SC/ST category.
