Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BE in Dr Vithalrao Vikhe Patil College of Engineeringi. The Candidate should be an Indian National.
ii. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together
Or
ii. Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
Or
ii. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
And
Selection Process: Valid Score in CET or JEE MAIN-1
c) Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National
i. The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks;
ii. Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.
d) For the candidates seeking admission at Institute Level Quota:
Candidates from Maharashtra State as well as from outside Maharashtra State having educational qualification as specified by competent authority are eligible for Institute Level Quota seats provided. However, they are required to apply separately to the Institute Level admission for these seats.
Lateral Entry: Duration: 2 yeas
The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed Post-SSC or Post-HSC Diploma Course in Engineering/Technology with at least 45 % marks (40 % marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved Institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level.
Or
The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC / Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) and passed XII standard examination with Mathematics as the subject and with English as the medium of instruction at B.Sc. level.
