MSc in Physics: B.Sc. degree with Physics main and Mathematics subsidiary with at least 55% marks in Physics.
MSc in Chemistry: B.Sc. degree with Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/ Environmental Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/ Petrochemicals (main) with Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects with at least 55% marks in the main subject.
MSc in Statistics: B.Sc. degree in Mathematics or Statistics main with at least 55% marks for optional subjects taken together. The candidates with Mathematics as main subject should have studied Statistics as subsidiary / main paper
MSc in Computer Science: Pass with not less than 60% marks in recognized regular bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications/ Computer Science and Eng. of minimum 3 years duration
MSc in Electronic Science:BSc degree in Electronics/ Electronic Science with a First Class (or 60% Marks) from any recognized university or institution.
MSc in Instrumentation: B.Sc. Degree in Instrumentation / Physics / Electronics with at least 60% marks from any recognized University. MSc in Hydrochemistry: B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as subsidiaries or B.Sc. Degree of any University in Kerala with Polymer Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/Petro chemicals/ Environment and Water Management as the main subject and Mathematics and Physics/ Computer Science as subsidiaries, with a minimum of 55% marks in the respective main subject.
MSc in Oceanography: B.Sc. degree with Physics/ Mathematics as the main subject with 55% marks. Those with Mathematics as the main subject should have studied Physics as one of the subsidiaries and vice-versa.
MSc in Meteorology: Pass in B Sc. in Physics with Mathematics / Mathematics with Physics/ Computer Science with Physics and Mathematics/ Chemistry with Physics and Mathematics with at least 55% marks.
MSc in Marine Geology: B.Sc. degree in Geology/Physics/Chemistry with at least 60% aggregate marks.
MSc in Marine Geophysics: B.Sc. degree in Geology/Physics with Mathematics as one of the subjects and at least 60% aggregate marks.
MSc in (Environmental Technology) Stream 1: Environmental Engg.): Graduate in Chemistry with Physics andMathematics as subsidiaries or graduate inEngineering (Civil/Public Health/Environmental or Chemical) with 55%marks (50% in the case of SC/STcandidates) in optional subjects in thequalifying exam and a valid rank in theCAT, conducted by the University.

MSc in Industrial Fisheries : Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries/ Zoology/Botany with at least 55% marks in theoptional subjects.
