Eligibility and Selection Procedure for LLM in Chaudhary Charan Singh University Candidates applying for admission to Gangadhar Meher University's LLB program must possess an LLB degree, either from a 3-year or 5-year course, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. However, in the case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, a minimum aggregate score of 48% is required. Selection Process: The selection of candidates for the LLB program at Gangadhar Meher University is based on a two-step process. Firstly, candidates are required to appear for an Entrance Test conducted by the university. Upon successfully clearing the Entrance Test, candidates are then called for counseling. The final selection is based on the candidate's valid score in the Entrance Test and subsequent counseling. Entrance Test Details: The Entrance Test for the LLB program consists of a single question paper with a duration of 2 hours. The paper comprises 100 objective type questions, with 10 questions from each of the 10 subjects, namely: Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law of India, Law of Crime (IPC), Law of Contract (General principles of contract), Law of Torts, Public International Law, Family law (Hindu and Muslim Law), Environmental Law, Administrative Law, and Company Law. Each question has multiple choices, with only one correct option among the given choices. Merit Lists and Preference: If a candidate is selected for admission to their first preference in Gangadhar Meher University's LLB program, their name will not appear in the merit lists of other colleges or campuses. This ensures that candidates have clarity regarding their admission status and streamlines the admission process.
