Selection Process
For BVSc and AH (Veterinary), candidate should pass entrance test Common Entrance Test (CETUGAAU)
For BFSC and B.Sc. course, candidate should pass qualifying exam.
For MVSc, MFSc, M.Sc. in Food Technology and MBA in Agri Business Management and Ph.D courses candidate should pass entrance test.
For M.Sc. (Agriculture, Community Science), candidate should pass qualifying exam.
Common Entrance Test (CETUGAAU)
Selection of candidates for admission into all Undergraduate degree programs of the University shall be based on the performance at the Common Entrance Test to be conducted centrally by AAU. 10+2 passed students from science stream, having the certificate of Permanent residence of Assam only should 13 apply for the test.
Those who are appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to sit in the Common Entrance test, but shall have to pass 10+2 exam before the date of admission. The wards of defense/ para- military personnel posted in the State of Assam for at least one year also eligible to apply for the Entrance Test.
