1.      Bachelors Degree holders from recognized University in the field of Medicine, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physio Therapy, Mental Retardation and P.G. Diploma in Child Psychology and Child Development:

2.      Graduates in any discipline with minimum 3 years experience in Rehabilitation of persons with disability in a recognized Institution:

3.      Masters Degree in Pathology, Social Work, Education, Sociology, Home Science, Child Development, Biological Sciences, Nutrition and Rehabilitation Sciences.

 

Stipend: A Stipend of Rs. 500/- per month will be paid.

 

Award of Gold Medal: Dr. B.N. Reddy "Gold Medal" is instituted for the topper of Post Graduate Diploma in Developmental Rehabilitation (PGDDR) Course from the year 2007.

HowToApply 1.      The Semester Examination for the Programmes: D.Ed Spl. Ed. (DHH), D.Ed Spl Ed. (VI) and D.Ed Spl. Ed. (MR) will be held in December 2010. Those institutions, which have enrolled students for these programmes have to get the enclosed Examination Form FILLED IN BY THE STUDENTS INDIVIDUALLY along with the Examination Fee of Rs.100/- Per paper per student (in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU New Delhi). 2.      The examination fee will be submitted by the students individually in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi along with the duly filled in Examination Form to the respective institutes. 3.      The Examination Forms along with the separate Demand Draft of all the students drawn in the favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi should be sent to the Director, NCDS, G-Block, New Academic Complex, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi on or before 20th December, 2010 without late fee and with a late fee of Rs 50/- per student/ per paper upto 25th December 2010. 4.      The Examination Form can be photocopied as per requirement. 5.      In the Examination Form programmer is Course e.g. DSEHI, DSEVI and DSEMR and course is Paper e.g. BMD- 001, BMD-002 6.      In the column Course option, write the Course (paper) code only for the first semester paper e.g. BMD-001, BMD- 002. 7.      Please feel free to contact the following persons in case of any doubt:   At RCI At IGNOU Mr. J.C. (SE) with D.Ed./TTC for the purpose of appointment of special teachers in all the schools in the State as well as schools run by local bodies of Delhi. Similar demand is expected to be created in other States and UTs with National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E.) granting approval to B.Ed. (SE) and D.Ed.
